Smarter Valves:
This season SAMWA will be evaluating a newer smart valve which can be installed and integrated into a
structures(home or cabin) water system and controlled remotely online or phone system. Some plumbing reconfiguration required.
Brief History: As the water system ages water leaks become a concern especially during the winter season. Locating valves in deep snow, digging for hours, takes a toll on those volunteers searching for leaks. Winter season leaks usually are narrowed to one location per incident, where as summer leaks accumulate from multiple sources, dripping faucets or toilets. Please help by securing your water system when closing for the winter.
